DJI Matrice 350 RTK w/ H20T
We had the pleasure of helping one of our students with their DJI Matrice 350 RTK. This top of the line enterprise drone is used by professionals for inspection, search and rescue, and surveying. Some of the features of this drone include the ability to fly in extreme weather, RTK (mm positional accuracy), advanced software tools, and interchangeable payloads. Speaking of payloads, the Zenmuse H20T (also from DJI) is a packed with sensors including a 23x optical zoom camera, radiometric thermal camera, and 1200m laser rangefinder.
Sounds cool right? Hold your breath because the setup above will cost you a pretty penny to the tune of $20,000. Personally I can’t afford this drone, but it was a thrill to fly. If you are in the same financial boat as me but need thermal capabilities, I would suggest the DJI Mavic 3T Enterprise ($5,550). Otherwise for everyone else doing photography, video, or mapping the DJI Mavic 3 Pro, Mavic Air 3, or Mini 3 Pro will be sufficient! One other good news, we offer classes in all those skillsets!
